Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

To set up MFA, please first ensure is has been turned on by an Admin or Primary user in the
company profile.Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a robust authentication method vital for enhancing security in Arken. This approach significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access. MFA employs diverse verification factors, with one common example being one-time passwords (OTPs), typically delivered through SMS or mobile apps.
Upon first login, you will be prompted to setup your Multi-Factor Authentication, you will be given an option to use SMS Authentication or an Authentication app.

We recommend that you set up the Autenticator app initially - incase there are any issues, SMS will be used as backup.
SMS Authentication
If you select SMS messages, then you will be prompted to enter your mobile number. This will then send you a unique code, please enter this in the box below to complete the setup. You will be required to provide a unique code each time you log into Arken, which will be sent to your mobile number.
Authentication App
If you choose to use an authentication app, you will be shown a key and a QR code. If you navigate to your authenticator app (we recommend
Google Authenticator or
Microsoft Authenticator), you will be given an option to scan the QR and generate a unique code. If the QR code does not work, you can enter the key supplied on the same screen.
Once you have the unique code, please enter it into Arken to complete the setup. You will be required to access the Authenticator app and provide a code each time you log into Arken.
