Adding paragraphs to the Clause Library

Intro

You can custom clauses or paragraphs to your Will or Documents.

There are two methods to add clauses:

  1. Via the clause library, or
  2. via the New Paragraph dialogue box.
You can utilise whichever method you feel comfortable with. If you want to add a paragraph to a document you are currently working on and also save it for later use then we suggest you save it to the Clause Library. You can read about using adding singular clauses here.

Adding a paragraph through Customisations

Navigate to Product Settings from the Dashboard, then select Arken Professional. This will show you customisations. Finally click on the tab 'Clause Library' on the left.



Click in the '+'  icon in the 'Clause Library' section and you will be presented with the 'Custom Paragraph' section where you create the paragraph.


To add your paragraph enter the content in the paragraph text box, select the indent level and press 'Update'.


To link multiple clauses, please affix the Description with " - 1" with the correct numbering e.g. This will allow you to pull all the linked clauses into a document at once.



Using the Clause Library

 When in the questionnaire, please right click the document where you would like to add a custom clause and select 'Insert Paragraph After from Library'


This will open the Clause library, where you can select the clause to insert. When selecting the first clause in a list of linked clauses, you will be prompted to include all linked clauses:



Here you can select to include just the one, or all linked clauses.

You can also add a custom paragraph to document commentary.
