This article will briefly go through the tabs to the left of Arken. On entering a questionnaire, you should see a list of tabs on the left.
Document Details - This tab displays information about the document, including the clients name, address and matter reference. In this section you may also see an option for mirroring documents. Admins and Primary users will also see the options to amend the Matter Reference, Font Size and also to Delete the Document.
Important Matters - This section will allow you expand certain areas of the questionnaire or include important clauses.
Asset Details - Here you can add your clients Assets and Liabilites to a document.
Executorship - This tab will allow you to elect Executorship for your client. You will have the option of electing your firm, a trust company or a multiple individuals. Additional you can elect substitutes or dictate how they are to act.
Trusteeship - This tab will allow you to elect seperate trustees. It will function similarly to the Executorship tab.
Advisory Trustees - Here you can elect an individual to act as an Advisory Trustee.
Funeral Directions - This tab will allow you to record any wishes for funeral directions.
Children Details - This tab will allow you to record you client's children details. You can add details of children of your client alone, their spouse, any previous partners. If seperate partners are input, you may see some additional options in the Guardianship tab.
Guardianship - Here you can elect guardians for the client's children. You will be able to add conditions, power to appoint, directions and add substitutions. If your client has multiple children with different partners, please include these in the Children Details tab to expand the options.
Provisions for Pets - This tab will let you add special instructions for your client's pets.
Distribution- These tabs will allow you to specify how to distribute your client's estate.
Administrative Matters - Here you can choose to include additional adminstrative clauses to your document.
Signing of the Will - This tab will allow you to specify how your client will interpret and sign the document. You can also include details of Witnesses and Remote Witnesses.
Overview of the Client - Here you can record details of your client interview, this tab will not effect the document.
Commentary Extenstions - This tab will allow you to include additional paragraphs to the documents commentary.
People and Organisations - This is an overview of all People and Organisations mentioned in the document. If you edit the details in here, they will be amended throughout the document.
Download Document Pack- Once you have completed all outstanding questions, you will be able to download the document.
Trust Referencer - The final section will highlight to you which trusts have been used in the document. If you are interested in further taxation information then please enquire about our Trust Referencer Product.
